Home Services Ohio Family Network Overview

Ohio Family Network

Milestones Autism Resources is honored to have been chosen as a grantee by The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities to help create the Ohio Family Network (OFN).

Milestones is focusing this work in Cuyahoga, Lake and Ashtabula Counties, supporting families and individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities to become leaders and facilitators of OFN services in their local communities.

As a part of this effort, Milestones is providing tools and support resources to help grow caregiver and self-advocate leadership and social skills, as well as connect families with other local families and non-disability resources.

Key Initiatives to Explore:

Charting the Life Course
This program is designed to support families to maximize their capacity, strengths, and unique abilities to best nurture, love, and support their family member to achieve goals. It will be instrumental in helping our OFN families.

Parent Mentors to Support Families
Local parent advocates have been identified to build networks and leadership capacity for families. Meet our Parent Mentors here.

Spanish Language Resources to support the Hispanic Community
The entire Milestones website automatically translates to Spanish for any user with a device set to Spanish. For everyone else, each page can be translated by clicking the "Español" button on the top right.

Spanish Helpdesk
