New to voting or not sure what accommodations are available to individuals with disabilities?
Don't worry! There are resources and organizations in place to help you understand everything you need to know about voting and your rights to do so.
The ACLU of Ohio and All Voting is Local are two such organizations who work to educate communities on this subject. Last year, Milestones Autism Resources was honored to partner with them to assist in the creation of new visual materials that voters with disabilities can refer when preparing for an upcoming trip to the polls.
The following resources provide instructions or information for various topics, from how to register to how to access helpful accommodations for yourself or a loved one.
Voting Rights for Ohioans with Disabilities: VISUAL AID - Download
Voting Rights for Ohioans with Disabilities: HOT CARD - Download
Please take this valuable time before Nov. 5th to share these materials!
If you or someone you know has a question about the voting process or your rights, please contact the Milestones autism Helpdesk at 216.464.7600 ext. 200.
