Individual & Family Consultation

Milestones is currently offering both virtual and in-person consultations.

Please note that to schedule an in-person consultation, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required and you will be asked to wear a mask during your appointment.

If you would like to schedule a consultation or have a question about one already booked please email Estee Ezinski at eesinski@milestones for further information.

Need help with a challenge or life stage transition? We understand it can be overwhelming or frustrating. Our knowledgeable, trusted staff can help you make a customized action plan based on your unique needs.

We will guide you each step of the way. Milestones consultants have extensive backgrounds in early intervention, school-based services, mental health, transition to adulthood and older adulthood.

To get started: Complete our online Intake Form below.

If you are experiencing a behavioral crisis, please reach out to your local county board of developmental disabilities.

Our Coaching Approach

Autism-specific education and evidence-based learning strategies make a difference. You don’t have to do this alone.

We believe in a collaborative approach. You and your consultant will work together to make a plan to help you meet your goals. In between sessions, you will take next steps with our consultant checking on your progress and providing coaching. We also engage schools, agencies and other resources that can assist you.

Our consultation services include:

  • Introduction and the Plan: Assessment to discuss your concerns and desires and decide on priorities. Recommendations and guidance on next steps.
  • Ongoing Support: Problem solving to meet your goals.

We can offer:

  • Independent observation of your teen in their workplace to see what is really happening.
  • Participation in your Individualized Education Program (IEP), Individual Service Plan (ISP) or Individual Plan for Employment (IPE) team meetings, vocational planning meetings.

Meetings can be conducted through video conferencing if appropriate/convenient for the client.

Please note: We invite clients to bring their teen/adult children to consultations if they are able to actively participate. We strongly encourage clients to not bring younger children, as we find meetings to be more beneficial for the parents when children are not present. If arranging childcare poses an issue for you, we can offer electronic or phone consultations.

Fees

This is a fee-based service. Sliding fee schedule available for families and individuals who meet the criteria for low-income.

To schedule your consultations or find out more: Complete our online Intake Form above or call 216.464.7600 ext 200.
