Private Pay, Scholarships, Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship

Western Reserve Speech & Language Partners LLC (WRSLP) offers full speech-language evaluation and therapy services in the areas listed below. Services are provided in person in our office in Chardon, in the independent school setting, and through telehealth.

WRSLP is a Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship provider. If your child receives services through JPSN, a WRSLP speech-language pathologist will support you and your school district representatives in the development of your child's IEP. This support includes providing specific, data-driven recommendations and attending IEP meetings. All services are by appointment only.

Evaluation and therapy services are offered in the following areas:

  • School-age speech and language
  • Articulation and phonology
  • Phonological awareness
  • Stuttering/fluency
  • Auditory processing
  • Early reading skills (decoding)
  • Reading comprehension
  • Written expression
