Sharon’s Signers is a local non-profit community sign choir based in Elyria, Ohio, that welcomes members of all abilities ages 14 to adult. Sharon’s Signers includes individuals with varying disabilities as well as non-disabled individuals.

Signers meet weekly at Elyria First United Methodist Church, 312 Third St. in Elyria during fall and spring sessions for two hours to work on putting free shows together for the public. Signers practice using sign language in combination with music to act out a story for our shows in an inclusive supporting environment. Additionally, outside of practice, their members and families enjoy spending time together at social outings, picnics, and seasonal events.

Their Mission is to foster inclusivity, and portray to our community that everyone has a special purpose and place in our world.
