Parents Views of Their Children on the Autism Spectrum Transitioning to College

The resources and information in the Milestones Autism Resources Center are meant to be a reference, and should not be considered comprehensive or an endorsement or recommendation of any providers, methodologies or services from any of the groups, agencies or companies listed. We urge you to make independent judgment when selecting a professional to assist you. We provide guiding questions to help you think through what is right for your situation.

The information provided is aimed to help psychologists and educators better understand how to successfully help students with autism spectrum disorder and their families transition from high school to college. The study is recruiting participants who have children that are aged 16 through 24 years old and are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will take around 45 minutes to complete. This questionnaire will ask questions about the child, such as their self-advocacy skills, their social skills, and their academics, just to name a few.

Participants in this study remain anonymous.
