New Story Schools primarily serves students on the autism spectrum in small class sizes at schools that maintain ODE charters. Though autism is the most common diagnosis at New Story, these programs also serve students with many other developmental disabilities.

New Story offers a K-12 education through their chartered schools in Columbus, Independence, Athens, Sandusky, and Lancaster, and home-education services across the entire state of Ohio. Programming in the Cincinnati/Dayton area is available through clinical and educational programming at Applied Behavioral Services.

All programs aim to serve student through a holistic approach that includes 1.) Focus on student wellness (social and emotional wellbeing), 2.) Reduction and replacement of behaviors-of-concern, and 3.) Skill-building through state standard-aligned academic or functional/life-skills curricula.

Be aware that students in the state of Ohio are allowed to attend school until the age of 22. Read here for more information.
