Volunteers annually help MedWish Medworks fulfill its mission of advancing health equity and environmental sustainability by providing essential care, redistributing surplus medical supplies, and connecting medically underserved communities with vital resources, in Northeast Ohio and around the world. Among these volunteers are those enrolled in the Skill Building Volunteer Program, who come daily or weekly to support our mission while developing their own skills.

MedWish partners with local agencies that provide participants, typically young adults and adults with special needs, who visit the warehouse to gain valuable job skills, social skills, and fine motor skills.

To become a partner, agency managers must contact us for availability. We will have the partner agency in for a tour to share more about our work and our Skill Building program. Once a plan is discussed and MedWish is able to support the needs of the participants, we will request paperwork is completed.
