Lake Metroparks Farmpark is a working farm and education center located in Kirtland, Ohio. Opened in 1990, the farm is located on 235 acres with fields, gardens, and standard farm buildings, devoted to agriculture and farming. Farmpark’s mission is to provide a connection to our agricultural roots while helping people understand where our food and clothing come from.

Farmpark features dairy cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, alpacas, and goats, a plant science center, farm machinery exhibits, playground and more. Horse or tractor-drawn wagons provide visitors rides to all destinations throughout the park. Wagons are handicap accessible.

Daily activities include demonstrations and educational programs related to farming and gardening. Special events occurring on a monthly basis include: Ice Festival, Maple Sugaring Weekends, Sheep Shearing Weekend, HorseFest, Vintage Ohio Wine Festival, Fall Harvest Weekends and more.
