JFSA is guided by traditional Jewish values of communal responsibility and social justice. They offer several programs to assist teens and adults with disabilities with residential services, employment services, community inclusion, and family advocacy.

They support over 60 residential sites in eastern Cuyahoga, Geauga and Summit counties. Many types of residential possibilities are offered, customized to fit specific needs and wishes.

The JFSA Day Support Program provides weekly individual and group activities, such as art, exercise, and community field trips for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. Activities help individuals have fun, spend time in the community, and learn new skills.

Vocational and Employment Services are for individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities. Career counselors help identify employment goals and prepare individualized plans outlining the steps needed to become employed.

The Gloria and Irving Fine Family Advocacy and Support Services Program helps families navigate the mental health and developmental disabilities systems so that families can take advantage of opportunities they may qualify for and tools to help them plan for their loved one’s future.
