The Hanna Perkins School has spaces for high functioning children on the spectrum in the school’s traditional Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms.

Each classroom typically has two teachers with up to twelve children (a 1:6 ratio). When there are children on the spectrum we try to keep the ratio at 1:3 or 1:4. The program has a strong emphasis on social-emotional development and includes teamwork between parents, teachers, and child development specialists. Work with children is individualized within the play-based and center-based classrooms. The curriculum meets ODE Content Standards.
