Join us for an evening with Dr. Ross Greene, child psychologist and New York Times best-selling author of “The Explosive Child,” “Lost at School,” and more!
Dr. Greene will discuss his evidence-based model for understanding and addressing children’s challenging behaviors – the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) model. While many approaches focus on coercing compliant behavior via rewards and punishments, Dr. Greene’s CPS model suggests that challenging behaviors are symptoms of underlying problems that require attention. The model provides a structure for collaboration between adults–including parents, teachers, caregivers and the child–to identify and resolve those underlying causes.
