On August 2, 2023, the Ohio State Fair will turn down the lights and volume to make the event more sensory-friendly, in partnership with the Autism Society of Central Ohio (ASCO), Opportunities for Ohioans (OOD), the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) and OCALI.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can ride the rides with no flashing lights or music, visit the Fair’s many educational and sensory activities, take a break in the quiet room, or check out the schedule to find a sensory-friendly Fair opportunity that suits you.
