Part I of Retaining a Qualified Workforce focused on employees who acquire disabilities as they age. Part II of the webinar turns the attention to the employee who acquires a disability through an injury or the onset of a medical condition. This webinar will help employers determine whether an injury or medical condition is a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act and considers strategies for fostering a workplace culture that is inclusive of retaining a qualified workforce. It will also provide examples of reasonable accommodations at work related to injury-related disabilities and the onset of medical conditions.
All webinars begin at 10 a.m. and will be Microsoft Teams Live events. Each webinar will be recorded and archived for future viewing. Each webinar has been approved for 1.00 HR (General) re-certification credit hour toward aPHR™, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ re-certification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) and 1.00 SHRM Professional Development Credit (PDC) hour toward SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®. While this training is not pre-approved for CESP Continuing Education (CE) credit, it aligns with CESP content, and verification of attendance will be provided upon request. These credits are available for attendees of the live broadcast.
