The nominations for 18 Difference Makers rolled in. And they kept coming.
With so many uniquely qualified candidates recommended for the inaugural class of the Cleveland Jewish News’ new signature event, it quickly became apparent that selecting 18 individuals would be extremely difficult.
So, the committee of judges decided to increase the first class of recipients to 36 – or double chai.
And if 36 inductees aren’t enough, the committee selected an additional person to receive a newly created Lifetime Achievement Award: Harlan Diamond, CEO of Executive Caterers.
