Barry Prizant and Sondra Williams will be keynote speakers at the 19th annual Milestones Autism Resources at the I-X Center June 18 and 19. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. About 1,000 people are expected, about the same as last year.
Prizant is an adjunct professor of childhood education services at Brown University in Providence, R.I. Williams is an author, poet and, according to Milestones, a self-advocate.
According to Ilana Hoffer Skoff, executive director of Milestone Autism Resources, more than 80 workshops will be offered, running on three tracks: adult services, medical, and visual support/technology.
