Milestones Autism Resources is proud to announce the addition of Maya Holtz Groys, Director of Development and Salina Miller, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator.

Maya is excited to return to her role as Development Director and to work with the staff, board and community to direct fundraising efforts and ensure a sustainable future for Milestones’ mission and programs. Maya has 20 years of experience in the nonprofit world with a focus on development, donor cultivation, event planning and grant management. Maya's long-time passion for organizations that help children and families is evident in her professional experience, including her time as Chair of Fostering Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of children in foster care. "Making a difference helping families and individuals with autism means everything to me. Milestones’ commitment to support, education and evidence-based strategies is making a true difference here in Cleveland and I am excited to contribute to this mission.”

As Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator, Salina Miller will support all organizational efforts to more effectively partner with and serve all people impacted by autism. Milestones is committed to reducing barriers to education and access across our community through training those who serve and interact with individuals with autism from diverse backgrounds and through seeking new partnerships with diverse community stakeholders

“Milestones is dedicated to decreasing the gap in diagnosis and service of children with autism with diverse backgrounds. Coming to the organization as an African American mother to a child with autism, I am proud to be bringing a different perspective and to assist others in obtaining the resources needed to thrive in their community.”
