Milestones Autism Resources will honor Phillip Irvin, Marvin Lader and Steven Wexberg for “extraordinary contributions to the local autism community” Oct. 27 at its 2018 annual benefit: The Spectrum of Possibility.
Irvin is a Milestones board member, treasurer and co-chair for Strike It Big, Milestones’ annual family bowling event.
“Being a father of a child with autism, Phil has an invaluable perspective that he uses to support and guide others on a similar journey,” Milestones Executive Director Ilana Hoffer Skoff said.
Lader has played a role in the development and expansion of Milestones since its founding in 2003.
“He has played a critical role in supporting Milestones’ ability to be responsive to community needs and creative avenues for sustaining the organization,” Skoff said. “Marv’s personal connection to autism has propelled him to help ensure Milestones continues to improve the lives of those with autism and their families.”
Wexberg is a pediatrician who serves the autism community.
“Steve has been a key player on the Milestones board of directors and has made a tremendous impact through his leadership in creating an educational space for health professionals at the Milestones National Autism Conference,” Skoff said.
