It was an honor to attend our 11th Milestones National Autism Conference this past week. Milestones Autism Resources has done an outstanding job of becoming the hub for the autism community both locally and nationally. As members of Cleveland’s Jewish educational community, we benefit greatly from the conference workshops, keynote speakers and vendors who come together for a remarkable two-day event at the I-X Center. The conference offers a broad range of experts speaking on a wide variety of topics, allowing us to choose those workshops which best fit our needs. This year’s keynote speaker and main presenter was Paula Kluth, a leading authority on inclusive classrooms and communities. As directors of inclusion programs in our community, we found Kluth’s presentation and workshops informative and inspiring. We left with many ideas and strategies to support our work.
How lucky Cleveland is to have such an outstanding resource right here in our backyard.
