Arizona State University offers 'An Overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders' certification program for professionals and family members who want to prepare for working with adults and children with autism. This stand alone program can be completed completely online within two years.
Students interested in sitting for the national Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination should apply for the Master's in curriculum and instruction: applied behavioral analysis or as a non-degree seeking student, depending on interest and need.

They also offer a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Autism Spectrum Disorders. It equips individuals with specialized skills and knowledge to work effectively and compassionately with children and adults affected with autism.
As a graduate of this program, you will be well prepared to provide important services and care for individuals with any of the autism spectrum disorders, either as educators, interventionists, psychologists, speech pathologists, behavior analysts, or family members.
