Join the Connecting for Kids staff to discuss the article, "Why Parenting Can Be Lonely, Even When You’re Rarely Alone.” We will explore the theme of isolation when raising a child with disabilities or mental health issues and how to build a village of support. Caregivers will have the chance to connect with other families facing similar concerns in a casual environment while enjoying coffee, treats and crafts.
This is a psychoeducational peer support group for adults only. This program is presented in partnership with the Lorain Public Library System and the Rotary Club of North Ridgeville.
Free childcare is available for this event for children ages 1-12, but registration is required.
