The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is committed to helping individuals with developmental disabilities learn how to live their best lives including how to stay safe while they work, live, and explore the community. As you transition to adulthood, you may choose to get a job and earn your own money. This is very exciting, but it also comes with more responsibilities to make smart and safe choices with spending and saving money.
This training is designed to help you and your families better understand how to move into the adult world with the skills to be financially responsible and make decisions that are the best for you.
It shares information and helps you build financial and digital literacy skills to increase your independence. The training includes learning about money and doing activities to help practice the skills on your own.
