Because Autism is a spectrum disorder, each child that has it possesses a distinct set of both strengths and challenges. The ways in which children with autism learn, think and problem-solve can range from highly skilled to severely challenged. If your child was recently diagnosed or is in the process of being evaluated, we can provide you with information about how the various faces of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can impact your child’s communication, social interactions, sensory processing skills and ability to learn. As a participant, you will also receive a very handy parent resource guide for families with children that were recently diagnosed
