Posted June 09, 2015 in Articles

PAINESVILLE — Lake Erie College Assistant Professor of Special Education Katie Krammer will present a workshop at the 13th annual Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference presented by Milestones Autism Resources. This unique conference curates a wide range of evidence-based talks covering topics relevant to all ages and ability levels.

Under the theme of “Life-Long Strategies for Success,” the conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 18 and 19 at the Cleveland I-X Exhibition and Convention Center, located at 6200 Riverside Drive.

Krammer’s workshop, titled “Parents: Taking Care of You so You Can Take Care of Your Child,” will be one of more than 80 evidence-based research presentations to be delivered by national and local presenters at the two-day conference.

“Autism currently affects 1 of every 68 people,” said Krammer. “This conference provides a valuable platform to help parents and professionals ensure each individual with autism in Northeast Ohio reaches his or her unique potential.”

Krammer’s workshop is scheduled to take place from 3:45 to 5 p.m. June 19. Registration is required to attend the conference.
