Lake Erie College Assistant Professor to Present Workshop at Autism Conference

Posted May 31, 2015 in Articles

Katie Krammer, Lake Erie College assistant professor of special education, will present a workshop at the 13th Annual Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference presented by Milestones Autism Resources.

This conference features a wide range of evidence-based talks covering topics relevant to all ages and ability levels.

Under the theme of 'Life-Long Strategies for Success,' the conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 18 and June 19 at the I-X Center in Cleveland.

Krammer's workshop, titled 'Parents: Taking Care of You so You Can Take Care of Your Child,' will be one of more than 80 evidence-based research presentations to be delivered by national and local presenters at the two-day conference.

'Autism currently affects 1 of every 68 people,' Krammer said. 'This conference provides a valuable platform to help parents and professionals ensure each individual with autism in Northeast Ohio reaches his or her unique potential.'
