Job Openings

Behavior Management Director at the Autism Model School

The Autism Model School will oversee and coordinate instruction for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The goal is to ensure that behavior analysis services result in meaningful outcomes for the students. The School uses an intensive, individualized ABA model.

Principle Duties
50%-The candidate will develop and consult with teachers to prepare individualized education plans based on assessment data and behavioral plans using ABA methodologies

30%-Consult with the School staff, assist in the daily operations of the school. Consult on resource allocation priorities, assign responsibilities, and consult on the development of policies and procedures according to established goals

20%-Write and submit weekly progress reports, and attend staff meetings and trainings as required

Job Requirements
Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field

Current credentials as a BCBA with a minimum of 3 years experience post-certification working with people with autism, preferably in a private school setting is highly desirable. Salary negotiable.

CARD eLearning™ and Skills™
Innovative web-based tool connected to CARD eLearning providing everything educators (including parents, teachers, and professionals) need to effectively design and manage a comprehensive, individualized treatment program for children with autism and related disorders. Skills™ provides tools for teachers who are working with children with autism (ages 0 through 8 years old) access to comprehensive evaluation assessments, curricula activities and tools to track progress. ADEPT (Autism Distance Education Parent Training)
Free 10 part webcast series for parents to learn how to use ABA techniques with their children. Self-paced and interactive, provides tools including checklists and activities to confirm understanding of the materials presented.

TARGET ( Texas Autism Resource Guide for Effective Teaching)
TARGET is a network of 20 regional Education Service Centers (ESCs) around the state and in conjunction with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), the Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism Training provides a mechanism to access training, technical assistance, support, and resources for educators who serve students with autism. Rethink Autism
Online Training Program for families and providers to increase ability for parents and teachers to provide individualized ABA therapy at home and in the classroom. Rethink Autism Program includes personalized assessment that will help to generate an individualized curriculum and ABA program. Data management is also included for parents and providers to easily track progress of the child and prompts the system to automatically create new skills set curriculums as the children progresses through their individualized ABA plan.
